Flying into AQW for a visit?
We are located right on the Appalachian Trail for those who like to hike. Take a short ride to nearby Williamstown (3 mi. west) or downtown North Adams (3 mi. east) to explore. Skiers can get to
Jiminy Peak Resort in about 20 minutes by car and there are world class museums (MASS MoCA and the Clark Art Museum) in each town. Fantastic golf options include Taconic or Waubeeka in Williamstown.
Transportation:
Call ahead to Shamrock Aviation for their recommendation on how to get around on the day of your arrival. It's possible a courtesy car or ride to town may be available depending on when you come in. Otherwise,
a taxi from American Cab is always available, but make sure its set up prior to your arrival or you'll be waiting for a half hour for them to show up. Rental cars from Enterprise can be arranged to be left at Shamrock Aviation or Turboprop East 7 days a week, but they are closed on the weekends so make sure you pre-arrange for Saturdays and Sundays. Sedan/Limo service is also an option from Norm's Limo by calling (413) 663-8300..
Recommended Dining:
Walk next door to the Stop & Shop Deli to grab a quick bite or to Isabella's Restaurant for a sit down meal.
